Pastor Kenneth Manders

Pastor Kenneth L. Manders served the Bermuda Mission (now Conference) as a literature evangelist from 1980-1984. He furthered his training in the gospel ministry at Oakwood College from 1988-1992 and graduated with a B.A. in Theology. While at Oakwood College he was awarded the Mosley/Warren Homiletical and Preaching Award for the class of 1992.

Pastor Manders received a call to serve as the associate pastor of the Southampton Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1995. He was also assigned to serve as the Youth Director for the Bermuda Conference, a post he held for six years. In 1997 he was assigned to the Somerset Seventh-day Adventist Church where the Lord blessed in soul winning for five years.

Pastor Manders presently serves as the President for Bermuda Conference and senior pastor for the Somerset Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The most important thing in his life is to be humble before God.  His favorite texts are Psalm 84:10, “For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness” and 1 Peter 5:6 “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.”
